Brian S Goodman has been practicing law in Maryland since 1982. A graduate of The Johns Hopkins University (B.A. 1979) and The University of Maryland School of Law (J.D. 1982) , Brian is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell and is admitted to the Court of Appeals of Maryland, the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, the Fourth and Fifth Circuit United States Courts of Appeals and the Court of Federal Claims.
Brian specializes in all sorts of tort and insurance litigation. He has a great deal of experience in general liability claims, defense of religious institutions , serious personal injury cases and first party property claims.
He has lectured extensively for continuing education credit all over the country in the field of first party property claims, and he has presented in this area before various committees of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (www.naic.org) and before many state legislatures. He has also been recognized in numerous states as an expert in the field of first party property claims and has recently written a chapter in the ABA book on first party property litigation.
Brian is also General Counsel for a large national insurance claim trade association. He has been in this position for the last twenty years.
In his “spare” time, Brian is the current President of the Baltimore Bar Foundation and has been the General Manager of the Young Victorian Theatre Company (www.yvtc.org) , Baltimore’s oldest musical theatre, for the past 43 years. He is also an avid Baltimore Ravens fan.
Kelly A. Donohue began her career at Goodell, DeVries, Leech & Dann, LLP in Baltimore, one of the State's largest and most prestigious defense litigation practices, Kelly spent twelve years defending multi-billion dollar health care systems throughout Maryland as well as individual health care providers.
Kelly's extensive experience defending hospitals, physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals equips her with a unique understanding of how medical malpractice and other negligence actions are defended, allowing Kelly to stay one step ahead of her adversaries.
Kelly's accomplished career as a litigation attorney has been consistently recognized by her peers who voted Kelly a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2010 and for eight consecutive years thereafter. Kelly was also recognized as 2018 America's Top 100 High Stakes Litigators and 2019 Maryland Super Lawyers.
Kelly was also awarded the 2019 Leading Women’s award by the Daily Record. The Leading Women recognition is awarded based on an honoree’s professional experience, community involvement and commitment to inspiring change.
In 2019, Kelly was awarded the Robert J. Zarbin Legislative Advocacy Award for her exemplary legislative advocacy efforts in support of civil justice.
